The facts,
properly established.

Private investigation services for individuals, businesses and organizations — with enquiries relating to financial matters, employee conduct, fraud concerns and asset tracing.

Investigations are undertaken according to the nature of the assignment, the information available and applicable legal requirements. Findings are based on information that can lawfully be obtained and verified.

4.1 — Tracing & background

Tracing and background enquiries

We assist clients in locating individuals, verifying available information and conducting enquiries relevant to business or legal matters.

  • Skip tracing — tracing individuals whose whereabouts are unknown, subject to lawful and appropriate methods.
  • Debtor tracing — enquiries to help locate debtors and establish available information.
  • Debtor status enquiries — information to assist clients in assessing debt recovery options.
  • Business tracing — establishing the whereabouts, status or available details of businesses.
  • Credit and status enquiries — authorised enquiries into relevant background or financial information.
  • CV and employment verification — employment history, qualifications and other relevant information where authorisation is available.
  • Witness tracing — locating potential witnesses and gathering relevant information for legal proceedings, subject to applicable law.
4.2 — Corporate & workplace

Corporate and workplace investigations

We assist organizations in investigating suspected employee misconduct, internal irregularities and other issues that may affect business operations.

  • Suspected theft.
  • Embezzlement and misappropriation of funds.
  • Kickbacks and conflicts of interest.
  • Breaches of internal policies and procedures.
  • Suspected blackmail, fraud or other forms of corruption.
  • Unexplained losses and irregularities affecting productivity or business assets.

Our work may involve gathering information, reviewing available records, conducting authorised enquiries and documenting findings for management's consideration.

Undercover workplace investigations. Where justified by the circumstances and legally permissible, discreet investigative arrangements may be considered in response to suspected workplace misconduct. The scope of each investigation is determined by the client's concerns, the available information and the applicable legal and organizational requirements. We provide reports outlining relevant findings and, where appropriate, recommendations for further action.

4.3 — Assets & finance

Asset searches and financial enquiries

We conduct enquiries to help clients obtain relevant information about assets, financial interests and matters associated with debt recovery or commercial disputes.

  • Asset searches — property, business interests and other assets associated with a subject.
  • Financial background enquiries — information to help assess the financial circumstances of individuals or businesses.
  • Debtor asset enquiries — information that may assist clients and their legal representatives in evaluating debt recovery options.
  • Litigation-related enquiries — information to assist clients in assessing potential claims and related legal matters.
  • Financial record reviews — examining available records for inconsistencies or indicators of possible irregularities.

Investigative findings are based on the information that can lawfully be obtained and verified. They do not necessarily establish a person's complete financial position or guarantee the recovery of assets.

4.4 — Fraud & external risk

Fraud and external risk investigations

We assist clients in making enquiries into suspected external threats and activities that may expose their businesses or assets to loss.

  • Suspected internet and online fraud.
  • Extortion-related concerns.
  • Suspected industrial espionage.
  • Product diversion and unexplained stock losses.
  • Suspected investment fraud, including Ponzi schemes.
  • Other suspected fraudulent or unauthorized activities affecting business operations.

The scope of each assignment depends on the available evidence, the nature of the suspected activity and the investigative measures that may lawfully be undertaken.

4.5 — Documents

Document and signature verification

We assist with enquiries into the authenticity and consistency of documents and signatures where concerns arise about possible alteration, forgery or misrepresentation.

Depending on the assignment, this may involve reviewing documents, comparing available records and referring matters requiring specialist forensic examination to appropriately qualified professionals. Formal forensic conclusions are provided only where the relevant expertise and examination methods are available.

4.6 — Surveillance

Surveillance and counter-surveillance

Where legally permissible and appropriate to the assignment, surveillance-related services may support investigations into suspected misconduct, security concerns or activities affecting clients' interests.

Counter-surveillance enquiries may also be considered where clients have specific concerns about unauthorized observation or monitoring. All such activities must be conducted within applicable legal requirements and agreed terms of engagement.

A note on method

Discreet. Lawful.
Documented.

The scope of every investigation is agreed before work begins.

We work within applicable legal requirements, handle findings responsibly and provide reports outlining relevant findings and, where appropriate, recommendations for further action.
